Independent Service Provider for a major ground logistics company relies on Peak-Ryzex’s turnkey mobile workforce solution to improve operational efficiencies
Columbia, MD – February 11, 2021 – Peak-Ryzex, Inc., a provider of digital supply chain and mobile workforce solutions, announced today that RB Express has selected Peak-Ryzex’s mobile workforce solutions offering to help them deploy Zebra Workforce Connect Push-to-Talk (PTT) Pro Powered by Savanna™ on their newly-upgraded fleet of Zebra TC77 mobile computers.
With daily delivery numbers increasing, Daniel Blatt, owner of RB Express needed a better way to supervise shifts, monitor mid-route changes, and address delivery concerns and accident reports. He was also looking to upgrade software to take advantage of additional features, such as picture sharing to confirm package delivery. To address these needs, Peak-Ryzex recommended RB Express run a pilot program to run Workforce Connect PTT Pro, a Zebra software application that optimizes voice and messaging communications and collaboration between drivers and central operations in real-time.

Implementing Workforce Connect PTT Pro allowed Blatt to customize existing mobile device settings to be in constant (and secure) contact with his entire fleet without requiring drivers to utilize their personal mobile devices. The ability to modify picture sharing, and manage tasks independently from the wireless carrier, including name changes, text messaging and GPS tracking, while also restricting parameters on each mobile device was vital in improving operational efficiencies.
Peak-Ryzex also provided the consulting, implementation and help desk services to allow RB Express to upgrade its drivers to the Zebra TC77 mobile devices. All in all, the mobile device upgrade and addition of Workforce Connect PTT Pro with Peak-Ryzex’s guidance allowed RB Express to realize better and faster communication, and more than 50% savings versus traditional wireless plans.
