Accushield Partners with Peak-Ryzex to Deploy and Support a Secure Check-In Solution

COLUMBIA, MD (Sept. 30, 2019) – Peak-Ryzex, Inc., a provider of end-to-end, technology-enabled solutions allowing customers to transition to digital and mobile environments, today announced Accushield has selected Peak-Ryzex’s managed mobility services offering to help them deploy and support their secure check-in solution in over 1,100 senior care facilities.
To address increasing safety and security concerns in senior living communities, Accushield created a touchscreen, badge printing system to automate the check-in process through a sign in and credentialing kiosk that authenticates each visitor for an added layer of protection to residents and staff. The company has seen a significant increase in demand over the past few years and the large volume of orders led them to seek out a partner who could manage the deployment of the hardware used in the solution and provide ongoing support to customers through help desk services.

Following the receipt of an order for an Accushield kiosk, Peak-Ryzex stages the mobile device, installs the application software and configures it to the customer’s exact specifications. Peak-Ryzex then performs a series of quality assurance tests to ensure the device is ready to deploy right out of the box. Orders can ship same day, which was impossible prior to working with Peak-Ryzex.
Peak-Ryzex also provides first and second-tier technical support for the devices. If a kiosk becomes inoperable in the field, Peak-Ryzex can remotely reboot the device, reload the software or reset the operating system. If a device cannot be repaired remotely, Peak-Ryzex handles the returns processing and can quickly redeploy the kiosk to the customer.
