Ross M. Young – Chairman
Ross Young became President and CEO of Peak Technologies in 2006 and was made Chairman in late 2016. Prior to joining PEAK Technologies, Mr. Young worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) operations team of Platinum Equity where he was responsible for the transition of acquired businesses. Mr. Young started his career as a sales representative at Racal Datacom Ltd (a Data Communications company based in the UK) where he held various senior management positions including Director and General Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Mr. Young relocated to the US following the acquisition of Racal Datacom by Platinum Equity.
Mr. Young was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and went to School at George Heriots Edinburgh and Hull University where he graduated with a B.S. degree in Physics. Mr. Young has more than 27 years experience in the IT Services and Telecommunications industries.
Michele Adams, CPA – Chief Financial Officer
Michele Adams joined PEAK Technologies in June, 2003 and currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer where she is responsible for oversight of the finance, accounting, treasury and information technology groups. Prior to joining PEAK, Ms. Adams served as Assistant Controller at Trigen Energy in Baltimore, MD. Prior to that Ms. Adams held various finance and management related roles in the waste, hotel/hospitality and floor covering industries.
Ms. Adams holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management with an Accounting certification from the University of Maryland in Baltimore County and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Maryland. Ms. Adams has more than 20 years experience in the finance and accounting areas and 14+ years in the mobility, supply chain enablement and lifecycle services industry.
Tim Wills – General Manager, NA & SVP
Tim Wills joined PEAK Technologies in September, 1999 and currently holds the position of General Manager, NA, & Senior Vice President where he is responsible for Corporate Strategy & Marketing, North American Sales, Peak-Ryzex Direct, and Manage Mobility. Prior to joining PEAK, Mr. Wills served in various sales and marketing positions at Preston Company, a regional leader in the transportation and logistics industry, headquartered in Preston, MD.
Mr. Wills holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Loyola College in Baltimore, MD. Mr. Wills has more than 18 years of experience in the mobility, supply chain enablement and lifecycle services industry.
John Coon – General Manager, UK, Managing Director
John Coon joined M-Netics in 2010 (now combined as M-Netics/Peak-Ryzex UK) taking the role of General Manager/Managing Director. Previously Mr. Coon spent 10 years at Motorola Solutions (formerly Symbol Technologies) initially as VP UK & Ireland and progressing to a wider area of responsibility including Benelux, Middle East and Africa.
Mr. Coon has worked in the mobility, supply chain enablement, retail and lifecycles services industry for over 17 years and in the broader technology/business services industry for over 25 years. Mr. Coon holds a B.Sc. in Nuclear Engineering from QMC, University of London.
Janet Pelzel – General Counsel
Janet Pelzel has served as General Counsel of PEAK Technologies since May of 2008 with direct responsibility for all legal and risk matters affecting the business. Prior to joining PEAK Technologies, Ms. Pelzel served as General Counsel and SVP of Human Resources for Wireless Facilities, Inc., an affiliated Platinum Equity portfolio company, and negotiated transactions with some of the largest telecommunications carriers and equipment vendors. Ms. Pelzel started her legal career in private practice with a law firm in Towson, Maryland before accepting the counsel position at First National Mortgage Corporation. After the mortgage company was acquired, Ms. Pelzel became VP and Assistant General Counsel at PHH Solutions and Technologies.
In 2003, Ms. Pelzel returned to Northern Virginia and worked for Computer Sciences Corporation managing one of its largest outsourcing contracts with BAE Systems. Ms. Pelzel holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia and J.D. from the George Mason University School of Law. Ms. Pelzel has over twenty years of transactional law experience in the Baltimore/Washington area.
John Gale – Chief Information Officer & SVP, Operations
John Gale joined PEAK Technologies in September, 2007 and currently holds the position of Chief Information Officer and SVP, Operations. Prior to joining PEAK, Mr. Gale served as Director of Professional Services at Psion Teklogix, headquartered in Erlanger, KY. In this position, Mr. Gale was responsible for building out the SAP and Voice integration services business. Prior to joining Psion Teklogix, Mr. Gale had a 14 year career at Symbol Technologies, headquartered in Long Island, NY, where he held various positions in the services field. Mr. Gale also later became Director of North America Professional Services at Symbol Technologies before leaving to join Psion Teklogix.
Mr. Gale holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems (CIS) from Dominican College in Orangeburg, NY and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Long Island University in Brookville, NY. Mr. Gale has more than 25 years in the Auto ID and Technology Industries.
Vicki L. Pillsbury – Vice President, Manufacturing & Logistics
Vicki Pillsbury joined PEAK in 2001 and currently holds the position of Vice President of Manufacturing & Logistics. Her current responsibilities include management of sales, manufacturing, and procurement for Telpar, a PEAK Technologies managed division that designs, manufactures and distributes its own line of direct thermal and impact kiosk and specialty receipt printers. Ms. Pillsbury is also responsible for inventory control for Telpar and PEAK's service logistics function, as well as PEAK's facilities. Additionally, Ms. Pillsbury is a Business Process Owner for the company's SAP system, along with the project leader for the acquisition of Integrated Labeling Systems (ILS).
Prior to joining PEAK, Ms. Pillsbury had 18 years of manufacturing experience with Moore Business Equipment with the last 8 years in the position of Supervisor of all assembly and test activities. During her tenure with Moore Business Equipment, Ms. Pillsbury was instrumental in the adoption of lean manufacturing principles.
Andre Ribeiro – Senior Vice President & General Manager, Peak-Ryzex Direct
Andre Ribeiro joined Peak-Ryzex in October 2015 and currently holds the position of Senior Vice President & General Manager of Peak-Ryzex Direct, a newly created division dedicated to small and midsized businesses (SMB). In this role, Mr. Ribeiro is responsible for creating and executing the go-to-market strategy to grow the company's market share in the SMB segment through e-commerce, demand generation, direct marketing and inside sales.
Prior to joining Peak-Ryzex, Mr. Ribeiro served as Vice President of Marketing and E-Commerce, Americas at Leica Geosystems. During his 12-year tenure at Leica Geosystems, Mr. Ribeiro built an industry-leading marketing and e-commerce organization that oversaw the growth of E-Commerce to a considerable percentage of total company sales. Through strategic design, development and execution, he transformed the company's website and mobile properties into a best-in-class user experience across digital and mobile touchpoints. Mr. Ribeiro holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Columbus State University and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from American Intercontinental University. Mr. Ribeiro has more than 15 years of experience in the technology and industrial manufacturing industries.
David McMinn – Vice President, Manage Mobility
David McMinn joined Manage Mobility as Vice President of Operations in June, 2006. David was promoted to Vice President of Manage Mobility in 2017. Prior to joining Manage Mobility, David was Vice President of Sourcing at Unisource Worldwide, where he was responsible for building a centralized sourcing team to consolidate and rationalize vendor partners and products. David served 2 years at OfficeMax as Vice President of Merchandising where he was instrumental in several new merchandising campaigns and the downtown store program.
Before Office Max, David spent 5 years at Office Depot as their Vice President of Merchandising, where he led a team of 296 people in Merchandising and the Copy and Print Centers. He led several initiatives in IT support for vendor partners, industry-leading merchandising and promotional campaigns, and drove unprecedented sales growth in several key areas for the company. David started his retail career at AutoZone, where he held several positions over his 15 year career from operating stores to managing the merchandising department.
