PAC 5.0 Achieves SAP Certification
|
COLUMBIA, MD (May 12, 2011) - PEAK Technologies, a Platinum Equity Company, today announced that its PEAK Automation Controller 5.0 software suite has been certified for integration with SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment (CE) 7.1 via the SAP® integration scenario JAVA-EE-ADV 7.1. The Powered by SAP NetWeaver certification confirms the existence of product features in accordance with SAP certification procedures.
The PEAK Automation Controller Enterprise 5.0 product suite allows users to seamlessly deploy, integrate and manage RF data collection, voice applications, label applicators and printers, RFID devices, and discrete warehouse and shop floor devices into their existing SAP infrastructure. PAC 5.0 provides a framework for inbound and outbound device messages to be mapped to business processes. The PAC suite of products includes PAC Device Integration & Management (PAC-DI), PAC Radio Frequency Identification (PAC-RFID), and PAC Enterprise Printing (PAC-EP). PAC-DI allows for the collection of statistical device related data such as cycle times and run rates while providing a centralized dashboard for firmware and configuration management of each device. PAC-RFID helps companies collect, manage, and leverage data in an SAP RFID environment. PAC-EP is a seamlessly integrated labeling solution for managing and monitoring industrial enterprise printers in a SAP-centric environment.
